Due to launching of the project, the following goals were achieved:
- Providing effective information support for the process of moving railway rolling stock along the enterprise’s tracks;
- Organization of distributed information input and centralized data storage;
- Exclusion (reduction) of vehicle downtime for operations related to the shunting of cars of a non-working fleet, occupation of tracks, accounting and the formation of acceptance documents and other operations;
- Improving the efficiency and quality of the railway transport and logistics services of the enterprise by planning the delivery and moving cars and trains beyond the territory of the enterprise, as well as reducing the time of cars holding on the enterprise’s tracks;
- Automation of accounting operations of reception, delivery, movement of railway rolling stock;
- Operational collection, processing and analysis of reliable and timely information for monitoring and decision-making by operational and dispatching personnel;
- Reduction of operating costs due to the ability to predict the activities of the enterprise on the movement of rolling stock;
- Automation of technological workflow.
